2024 was an interesting year of growth. Here are the highlights.

In May we caught Come From Away

Come From Away was part of the Broadway series at the PAC CalPoly this year. Lovely show!

June was a super busy month. We saw the SLORep season finale, 9 to 5 The Musical. Jen started dating Gregg. Micah adopted 2 Great Pyrenees and started dating Mason. Heather was in San Francisco for a week on a business trip (Figma conference) and while there spent some time in the SFMOMA (highly recommend The Visitors by Ragnar Kjartansson, was damn near a religious experience!) and caught a Giants vs Dodgers game (Giants won!) with her California bestie, Regina.

August, we caught another melodrama show and went to Spoon Trade in Grover Beach for Heather's 52nd birthday.

September was SLORep's season opener:

The Musical of MUSICALS. It was a lot of singing.

October was another busy month with back to back weekends of theater tickets and Heather hosted a spooky Halloween lunch & games day. Saw The Werewolf of Arroyo Grande at the Melodrama and Misery at SLO Rep. The Misery performance was quite disturbing in a great way. Melodrama was hilarious as usual.

After election day, Jen and Heather figured a trip to Hades was appropriate. Were we disappointed but unsurprised by the election results? Yes. Was some of that ick abated by Hadestown? Absolutely. Another great Broadway at PAC show. We continue to love the theater available to us here on the Central Coast.

Also in November, we went out to the Cayucos Pier on the first anniversary of Breck's and tenth anniversary of Gloria's passings. Yall know they left this earth on the same day? Yah, wild. But indicative of their love story. It was a beautiful if somber day. We left some roses at their plaque, said a few words, and may or may not have distributed some ashes. We had not coordinated on the maroon dress code, total cosmic coincidence.

Don't want to end on a downer so here's Starbuck, the diva dog, living her best life. We have lots of December plans including a Solstice get together amongst the other holiday festivities. Will try to not be a slacker and add pics from those asap. Wishing you and your families a prosperous 2025!
